After we work together in Yoga Therapy, You'll have a clearer understanding of your movement between joints, how your movement of breath effects the rest of your body, and of the science behind guided- rest. This understanding will reinforce ease and control over the symptoms of pain and trauma in your body. Pain and trauma will no longer lead you, you'll be able to express who you are and choose the direction of your life with confidence and clarity. We will accomplish this through a series of weeks together where we check-in, assess, and explore.

An overview of what a yoga therapy session looks like:

We will check-in with your body diagram (What I call the “mini-mirror”) each time we meet to see how different areas are doing and what you may be noticing - or not noticing - as we consider your overall goal. From here, we will assess what healing tools may be best for that day while keeping our main goal in mind. Some sessions may have a few small movements in them, while others may have more stillness or breathwork. This will depend on progress and context.

*These sessions are mostly online, but are sometimes offered in-person once we touch base and I learn more about your needs.
